We encourage the community to be involved in the development of our Gas Terminal. We are keen to hear people’s views, concerns and suggestions. This will be a critical part of the project.
UPCOMING EVENT
Community drop-in session
Our next Geelong Energy Hub community drop-in session will be at the Rosewall Community Centre, 36 Sharland Road, Corio, in August on a date to be confirmed.
We can provide updates on the Gas Terminal Project Supplementary Statement process and the technical studies that have been undertaken for this project.
Project leaders will be in attendance to talk about any element of the proposed Gas Terminal which would involve adding an extension to the existing Refinery Pier in Corio Bay, mooring an industrial ship to receive shipments of LNG and turn it back into vapour, construction of a gas pipeline connecting to the Victorian Transmission System and a new, onshore treatment facility.
