Viva Energy Australia Pty Ltd (“Viva Energy”) has joined peak national body BioEnergy Australia as a major member.
Viva Energy CEO, Scott Wyatt, said that the decision to join BioEnergy Australia supports the company’s’ existing investment in biofuels distribution.

Viva Energy has shown a strong commitment to supporting biofuel initiatives around the country having invested more than $20 million into biofuel projects.
Most recently this has included establishing a range of supply agreements with local biofuels producers and the construction and commissioning of a new biofuels blending facility in Queensland.
Development and supply of sustainable aviation fuels is also a focus to support aviation customers and their sustainability targets. Viva Energy’s aim is to collaborate with them and technology providers to assess viability and establish a pathway to long term supply.
We understand the need to improve energy efficiency and reduce emissions, and we are already working across the company and with our customers to pursue opportunities in these areas, “Mr Wyatt said.
BioEnergy Australia is the national industry association for Australia’s current and future bioeconomy, committed to accelerating Australia’s transition to sustainable energy and product solutions by driving both visibility and activity within the bio sector.
