Viva Energy Group Limited (the Company) has today announced the following changes to its executive leadership team.
Chief Executive Officer, Convenience and Mobility
Jevan Bouzo, currently Chief Operating and Financial Officer, will be appointed Chief Executive, Convenience and Mobility. This new role will have responsibility for the combined Coles Express and Viva Energy Retail businesses, together with the broader development and execution of new energies and other mobility related offers as they are implemented across the retail network.
After joining Viva Energy in 2015, Mr Bouzo was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2018 and to the expanded role of Chief Operating and Financial Officer in 2021. During his time with the Company, Mr Bouzo has been responsible for supply chain operations, distribution and logistics, fuel procurement, scheduling, wholesale supply and commercial pricing as well as finance, tax, treasury, group procurement and insurance, and he played an integral role in the listing of Viva Energy on ASX. Mr Bouzo will be supported in his new role by a leadership team which will draw from the existing Coles Express and Viva Energy leadership teams.
Megan Foster, currently Executive General Manager, Retail, will continue in her role to support a smooth transition to Mr Bouzo, after which she will leave the Company to pursue the next chapter in her career.
Chief Financial Officer
Carolyn Pedic has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and will join the Company on 1 January 2023. Ms Pedic brings extensive industry experience to the position, with over 20 years’ experience in finance and risk management roles across energy and mining.
Most recently, Ms Pedic was Group Financial Controller at BHP and, prior to that, Head of Wholesale Markets Risk at AGL Energy. She has also spent more than 15 years in professional services firms, EY and PwC, focusing on financial advisory and audit services in the energy sector.
Executive General Manager, Supply Chain
Jennifer Gray has been appointed as Executive General Manager, Supply Chain. Ms Gray has had an extensive career in Retail, Wholesale and Supply across Shell and Viva Energy, and currently leads the Company’s Liberty Wholesale business.

Viva Energy Chief Executive Officer Scott Wyatt said: “Over the last year we have made a number of important announcements which are shaping our business, including most recently the acquisition of Coles Express, which will transform not only our Retail fuels business but our broader Company by creating Australia’s largest integrated convenience and mobility network under a single operator and welcoming around 6,000 new team members into our fold. Today we have announced a number of leadership team changes which will support our transformation agenda.

Jevan Bouzo biography
Jevan is currently the Chief Operating and Financial Officer at Viva Energy responsible for supply chain operations, distribution and logistics, fuel procurement, scheduling, wholesale supply and commercial pricing as well as finance, tax, treasury, group procurement and insurance. Jevan previously held the position of Chief Financial Officer for the group and delivered complex transactions including the group IPO, establishment of the private business and transformation to publicly listed company as well as the establishment and IPO of Viva Energy REIT (now Waypoint REIT). Prior to this Jevan worked at Ernst & Young in assurance and business services where he led assurance and business improvement engagements for a number of clients across the energy and retail sectors.
Jevan is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from Monash University.
Carolyn Pedic biography
Carolyn has over 20 years’ experience in finance and risk management roles across energy and mining. During her time at BHP, Carolyn was based in both Melbourne and Santiago Chile holding senior finance roles, most recently as Group Financial Controller. Her previous roles at BHP included Vice President Reporting Minerals Americas and Vice President Group Reporting and Governance. Prior to BHP, Carolyn was at AGL Energy as Head of Wholesale Markets Risk, responsible for risk management oversight of wholesale energy trading. She also spent more than 15 years in financial advisory and audit services, including as a Director at EY, in both London and Melbourne advising global clients across Australia, the UK and Europe and across the mining and energy sectors.
Carolyn is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
Jennifer Gray biography
Jennifer has more than 25 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas sector and is currently the CEO of Liberty Oil Australia. Jennifer has held various leadership roles within Viva Energy and Shell across a broad range of disciplines including retail operations, supply chain, commercial sales, pricing and strategy, which have seen her work extensively in operations around the world including five years based in London.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University in Wellington. She is also currently a Director of Liberty Oil Australia, Liberty Oil Convenience and a former Board Member of the Australian Association of Convenience Stores.
